VIROLOGY FOR THE NON-VIROLOGISTS

The publication “Virology for non-virologists” by Roberto Ligugnana – Publisher AROUND LAB NEWS “in Italian and English, has the purpose of highlighting in a simple way the characteristics of viruses to better understand them, prevent them (when possible) and fight them.

Virology is a relatively young science that has suddenly and imperiously jumped to the fore in these days of the Coronavirus outbreak.

The first part of the volume is in a joking tone with the aim of playing down the serious current situation by looking forward to a more peaceful future. The second part is more technical and contains the indications of the National and International Public Health Authorities to fight viruses.

The publication completes the previous volume “Microbiology for non-microbiologists”.
